He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Rickard and Verna R. Rickard. He is survived by: his wife Sandy (Walton); his brother Gary (Christine); his nieces, Kourtney Brown and Rebecca Avenson; his grandchildren, Cameron Scholten (Emily), Cassie Scholten, Alyssa Scholten, Jasmine Morey (Nolan), Quentin Morey, Autumn Morey, Amanda Rickard, Johnathan Rickard and Dalton Rickard; and his great grandchildren, Everleigh and Beau.
A rosary was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Sabina Parish (700 Trevis Ave, Belton, MO 64012). Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Higginsville Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
