Lawrence David Hocker Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence David Hocker of Belton, Missouri, who passed away on April 8, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hocker and Daisy Hocker; his siblings, Mary Ella Hocker, Robert Hocker, Arlene Johnson, Merle Kelly, Lois Grummer and Carol Simmons; and his son-in-law Harry Taylor.

He is survived by: his wife Maureen Hocker; his children, Michael Hocker of Arlington, TX, Dr. Debra Taylor of Russellville, AR, Kathy Ray (Allyn Vise) of St Charles, MO, Terry Rivers (Dawn Rivers) of Belton, MO and Connie Morlan (Duane Morlan) of Lakeport, CA; his grandchildren, Rev. Sarah Lowenberg (Michael Lowenberg), Valery Webb (Brandon Armstrong), Andrew Webb, Nicole Morlan, Joshua Rivers (Kaitlyn Rivers), Linda Newland (Andrew Newland) and Brandon Rivers; and his great grandchildren, Melisa Lowenberg, Mayson Lowenberg, Gabriel Lowenberg, Rylie Armstrong, Violet Armstrong and Declan Armstrong. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given in Dave's name to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
