With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Karen Lynn Harms of Belton, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her father Harlan Heck; and her stepfather Darryl Spena. She is survived by: her mother Merita Frances (Kerrick); her husband Ed Harms; her daughters, Heather McDaniel and Victoria Guider; her grandchildren, Juliette, Kevin McDaniel and Jacob Guider; her brothers, Keith Heck (Jo Ann) and Bruce Heck (Angela); her stepsiblings, Michael Dean Spena (Katherine), Marten Laverne Spena (Ronda), Paul Montgomery Spena (Jenny), Mark Steven Spena (Beth), Sharon Steen and Leesa Jackson; her mother-in-law Ruth Harms; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Harms, Susan Hayden and Becky Cary (Greg). She is also survived by nieces and nephews; 20 step great nieces and nephews, 6 nieces, 2 nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the South Haven Baptist Church (16800 Bel- Ray Blvd, Belton, MO 64012). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
