He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell Dorrell and Maude Dorrell (McIntire); and his siblings, Cecil Dorrell, Myrtle "Bobbie" Baxter, Maxine Dorrell, J. L. Dorrell, Arthur Dorrell and Charles Dorrell.
He is survived by: his wife Colleen Dorrell (Moore); his children, David, Dennis Dorrell, Vickie Pittman and Tracy Coyle (Toby); his sister Viola Cotter; his grandchildren, Benjamin Dorrell (Monique), Lillith Coyle and Samuel Coyle; and his great grandchild Nala Dorrell.
