He was predeceased by: his parents, Justice Lafayette Mize and Edna Frances Cotton Mize; his brothers, Donald Gene Mize and Claude Mize; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Douthit, Loretta Mize and Nella Horton.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Sue Huckabee Mize; his siblings, Ronald Mize of Marshall and Maudie Douthit of Mablevale; and his sister-in-law Barbara Padilla (Junior). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and his church family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roller Coffman Funeral Home (923 US-65, Marshall, AR 72650). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Belton Freewill Baptist Church (215 Mill St, Belton, MO 64012).
