He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Maedge and Laura Maedge; his parents-in-law, Albert and Marie Albrecht; his siblings, Annabelle Ollerton, Robert Maedge, Evelyn Wolbert, Russell Maedge, Wanda Maedge and Ronald Maedge; his nephew Carter Albrecht; his brother-in-law Ken Albrecht; and his son-in-law Greg Vest.
He is survived by: his wife Alice of Belton; his daughter Marsha Vest; his grandson Parker Benton (Viviana); his great grandchild Joey; his granddaughter Paige Benton; his great grandchild Emerson; his sister-in-law Judy Albrecht of Temple; his brother Walter; and his sister-in-law Marlene. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
