He is survived by: his wife Luz Racela; his daughters, Marichi Smith (Jerry) and Ricci Racela (Michael Bonahan); and his grandchildren, Taylor and Amelia Smith.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the McGilley Stateline Chapel. A Mass will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Sabina Catholic Church (700 Trevis Ave, Belton, MO 64012).
His involvement with the Filipino Association of Greater Kansas City, the Medical Missions Foundation, and the Health Outreach Foundation showcased his unwavering dedication to creating cultural awareness and providing care to those in need.
