He is survived by: his wife Marlene Elizabeth Grooms Strauss; his sons, David Lee Strauss and Andrew Stephen Strauss (Tonya Marshall) of Wellsville, MO; his mother Evelyn Elizabeth Happe Strauss of Montgomery City, MO; his granddaughters, Destiny Carolyn Stauffacher and Travie Christine Stauffacher; his siblings, Della Marie Hill (Jim) of Hermann, MO, Karen Ann Struttmann (Wayne) of Rhineland, MO, Evelyn Mary Kempf (John) of Montgomery City, MO and Joseph "Butch" Anthony Strauss (Keilgh) of Mexico, MO.; his mother-in-law Vivian Grooms of Centralia, MO; and his siblings-in-law, Rita Lutz (Jeff) of Centralia, MO, Gina Roundtree (Kenny) of Lebanon, MO, Raymond Grooms of Mexico, MO, James Grooms (Marsha) of Mexico, MO and Curtis Grooms (Shurie) of Auxvasse, MO. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
