He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl West and Faye West (Pohlmann); his sister LaTelle Young; and his brothers-in-law, Ed Young and Stan LaPointe.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon "Sherry" Annelle West; his sons, Jeffrey Michael West of St. Louis, Mark E. West (Amy) of St. Peters and Ryan West (Leslie) of Montgomery City, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jamie West of St. Peters, Anna West of St. Peters and Madison West of Montgomery City, Missouri; and his sister Donna Jean of Wright City, Missouri. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
