He was predeceased by: his parents, Newell Swafford and Stella Swafford (Shephard); his former wife Lois Barnes; and his siblings, Terry Swafford, Larry Swafford, William Gray, Lindsey Gray, Donald Gray, John Swafford, Sarah Culp, Joyce Keike and Patsy Spicer.
He is survived by: his wife Itinia Pitcock; his children, Jerry Loyde Swafford II (Cindy) of Bellflower, MO and Annette Hendricks (Randy) of New London, MO; his stepchildren, David Taylor (Janet) of Grapevine, TX and Susan Noble (Jeff) of Allen, TX; his grandchildren, Shawn Swafford (Stephanie), Philip Hendricks (Baileigh), Michael Stradford (Kendall), Andrew Meadows, Randall Hendricks, Carson Taylor, Collin Taylor, Mathew Noble and Andrew Noble; his great grandchildren, Gavin Hendricks, Landon Swafford, Elizabeth Swafford, Raegan Stradford, Luke Hendricks and Leigha Hendricks; and his in-laws, Hannalore Swafford, Janet Winterhaulter, Della and Milton Henning.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grand View Funeral Home (11116 US-61, Hannibal, MO 63401). A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
