She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jones and Emma Jones (Anderson); her husband Rev. Bud Lawson; her child Baby Lawson; her grandson Buddy Thurmond; and her siblings, Jim Jones, Warren Jones, Maynard Jones, Casey Jones, Rocky Jones, Stanley Jones, Joyce Crews, June Ward, Juetta Casteel and Jenny Lewis.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Layne cemetery in honor of Jane Lawson.
