He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Francis and Alta Francis (Griffith); his wives, Ina and Augusta Francis; his close friend Delores Heck; his stepfather Arthur Francis; his children, James, Richard, Pamela and Phillip Francis; his grandson Daniel Helmig; his siblings, Harold Francis, Gary Francis and Muriel Francis Lansford; and his nephew Christopher Francis.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Tyree (Elmer) of Linn, Vickie Francis of Jefferson City, Angie Nastasi (Joe) of Kansas City and Jerry Francis (Samantha Slinkman) of Belle; his grandchildren, John Helmig (Dorinda Howard), Matthew Helmig (Darlene) of Belle, David Helmig (Christina) of Tibbetts, Brian Francis (Amy) of Union, Michael Francis (Christina), Joshua Nastasi of Olathe, Jesse Nastasi of Kansas City, Abbie Nastasi of Kansas City and Brittany Francis of Eureka; his great grandchildren, Ethan Helmig of Belle, Erin Helmig of Belle, Emily Helmig of Belle, Ella Helmig of Tibbetts, Elijah Helmig of Tibbetts, Jessica Francis of Union, Tara Sauer of Colorado and Trey Sauer of St. Louis; his brothers, Gentry Francis (Carol) of Titusville and Donald Francis of Liberal; his daughter-in-law Margaret Francis of Eureka; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Francis of St. Louis and Mickey Meyer of Chamois. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
