Terry C. Abel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2025, at the age of 94, Terry C. Abel of Belle, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd C. Abel and Mabel Abel (Johnson); his wife Doris Birdsong; and his sister Patsy Wallace. He is survived by: his children, Terra Sue Abel of Jefferson City and Ty Abel (Beverly) of Belle; his grandchildren, Sonya Hance (Arthur), Sara Clime (Craig), Emily Kempker (Darrin), Tori Snitker (Shannon), Shay Abel (Victoria) and Kaci Jones (Gavin); his great grandchildren, Arthur Lee Hance (Jordan) and Mallory Siegler (Logan); and his great great grandchildren, Brooks Hance, Blair Siegler, Raylee Hance, Harlyn Siegler, Aspyn Siegler, Charlee Hance and Merrick Siegler. He is also survived by his family and especially his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (203 W Second St, Belle, MO 65013). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Liberty Cemetery (35010 Maries Rd 413, Belle, MO 65013).
Expression of sympathy may be made to the Maries RII scholarship fund in Terry's name.
