He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Maples and Olive Maples (Miller); his wife Clarice; his son Gary Maples; and his sister Pauline Stageman.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Maples (Suzanne) of Belle, Greg Maples of Taos and Barbara Maples of LaQuinta, Calif.; and his daughter-in-law Jan Maples of Warrenton. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 6 great, great-grandchildren.
