He was predeceased by: his parents, John Shockley and Veta Shockley; his close friend Rosemary Prenger; and his grandchildren, Justin Houk and Michaela Houk.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Shockley; his children, Michael Shockley of St. Helen's Oregon and Kelley Shockley of Neosho, Missouri; and his siblings, Virginia Wooley of Belle, Missouri, Verlee Backues (Marvin) of Belle, Missouri and Jerry Shockley of Belle, Missouri.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; four bonus grandchildren.
