He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sylvester and Nora Varley Stough; his wife Shirley Ann Butler; and his siblings, Mary Ethel Lewis (James), Loraine Otis (Leonard), Nancy Jane Guffey (Arnold), Betty Acquilliard (Joe), Lloyd Stough (Frank Stough) and Danny Rakestraw.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Rakestraw and Johnny Stough (Donna) of Belle; his grandchildren, Ryan Rakestraw (Michelle), Lauri Nelson (Stephen), Danny Rakestraw, Cari Brown (Kevin) of Belle, Robbie Rakestraw (Brandi) of South Pekin, April Kinkead (Jeff) of Canton, Eldon, Shaye, Terance Rakestraw, Trislynn, Tara Webster, Chandra Hopkins, Gracee Jo Mantle, Rylee Rakestraw of Belle, Caitlyn Wilson of Blue Springs, Chase Rakestraw of Lebanon, Chelsey Laster (Chris) of Villa Ridge, Anjelica Lawson (Kevin) of Sedalia, Dalton Rakestraw, Jade Rakestraw of Salem, Travis Turnage (Stephanie) of Rolla, Emmalee Turnage of Columbia, Brett Kinkead (Jessica) of Tremont and Presley McConkey (Blake) of Fairview; his great grandchildren, Evvy Rakestraw, Adelyn and Creed Hopkins of Belle; and his sister JoAnn Sharp of Newburg.
