He was predeceased by: his father Alfred Gehlert; his sister Marilyn Fredendal; and his granddaughter Samantha Buehrlen. He is survived by: his mother Patsy Gehlert of Frene Valley; his children, Denene (Trey Schlottog) and Deven Gehlert; his grandchildren, Abigail and Bailee Buehrlen; and his siblings, Carla (Donnie White) of Newburg and Michael Gehlert. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
