He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alexander Plassmeyer and Georgia Wilson (Plassmeyer); his grandparents, James and Mary Francis Elston; his children, Mona Young (Patrick) of Russellville, MO and Bryan Plassmeyer (Stephanie) of Belle, MO.; his grandchildren, Nathan Young (Robyn) of Jefferson City, Melissa Severs (Loren) of Hartsburg, Allie and Katie Plassmeyer of Belle, MO.; his great grandchildren, Lane Young and Magnus Severs; his half-brother Tim Plassmeyer of Union, MO.; and his stepmother Leta Stockton Plassmeyer.
