He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Cox and Alice Cox; his brothers, John and Lydon Cox; and his nephew Travis Cox.

He is survived by: his wife Laura Cox; his children, Tasha Marsee (Scott) of Belle, Tiffany Vandegriffe (Jeremy) of Belle and Trenton Kinsey (Samantha) of Belle; his stepchildren, Rachael Haas (Brent) of Jefferson City and Travis Beal of St. Charles; and his siblings, Monica Valley (Charlie) of Belle, Vicky Caswell (Marcus) of Michigan, Bev Murphy of Jefferson City, Ronnie Cox (Kathy) of Belle and Wesley Cox (Tina) of Belle. He is also survived by ten grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
