He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Cantriel and Alice E. Cantriel (Cautrell); and his stepfather George Dittman. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ilene Nowack; his brother Douglas Cantriel; his granddaughter Amanda Thompson; his great grandchild Samantha Buehrlen; his children, John Baxter (Tammy), Regina Ragan (Randy) of Belle, Shelly Wright (Len) of St. Clair and Scott Baxter (Nancy) of Belle; and his siblings-in-law, Joann Cantriel of California, Darlene Skaggs (Jerry) of Jefferson City, Willadeen Vandegriff of Belle, Missouri. and Wayne Nowack (Kathy) of Chicago, Illinois.. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
