He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvia Grubbs and Mellie Grubbs (Wilkerson); his siblings, Alvia Grubbs, Jr., James L. Grubbs, Tony Grubbs, Gary Grubbs, Catherine Grubbs and Martha Reynolds; his son Stephen Page; his grandson Phillip Faulkner; his nephew Dewayne Grubbs; and his niece Sheila Landing.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Valentine; his granddaughters, Hannah McKinney and Allyson Bartner; his children, Catherine Scott of Belle, Lorrie Stagner (Matthew) of Washington, Sherri Bartner of Ft. Madison, IA, Deborah Faulkner (Rudy) of St. Charles and Bill Page (Michelle) of St. Charles; and his siblings, Emma Turner of Melber, KY, Mary Wood (Tom) of Belle, Wanda Whitener (Terry) of Cornersville, TN, Rev. Larry Grubbs (Deborah) of Conway, AK, Phillip Grubbs (Denise) of Pearland, Jerry Grubbs of Belle, Jackie Grubbs of Knoxville, TN and Billy Grubbs of Seattle, WA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the First Baptist Church or to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
