He is survived by: his children, Davy Skaggs (Carol), Richard Skaggs (Connie), Vickie Piercy (Richard), Eddie Nipper (Melinda) and Elsie Nipper; his grandchildren, Shawn King (Giles), James Skaggs, Kerry Klein (Kristen), Richard Jr. Skaggs (Kimberly), Christopher Skaggs (Sarah), Sabreena Clewett (Taz), Eddie Nipper Jr., Christina, Amber, Wesley, Ann, Joseph and Summer Nipper; and his siblings, Clyde Nipper of Cyril and Deloris Akers.
