With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Ann VanLeer of Beaufort, Missouri, born in Washington, Missouri, who passed away on March 14, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin "Beef" VanLeer; her son Jeffrey VanLeer; her parents, Gilmore Wilmesher and Catherine Wilmesher; her stepmother Shirley Wilmesher; her sister Doris Faber; her sister-in-law Sue Wilmesher; her parents-in-law, Walter and Viola; and her brothers-in-law, Ross Van Leer and Glenn VanLeer (late Dixie).
She is survived by: her children, John VanLeer (Lori) of Beaufort, Beth Billington (Dan) of Chamois, MO and Jill Pickard (Mark) of DeSoto, MO; her grandchildren, Josh Billington, Casey Goldschmidt (Mike), Tyler Pickard, Cullen VanLeer (Caramia) and Cameron VanLeer; her great grandchildren, Bennett Goldschmidt and Cooper Goldschmidt; her brothers, Jim Wilmesher of Osage Beach, David Wilmesher (Linda) and Paul Wilmesher of Union; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Faber of Union and Helen Olm of Toronto, KS. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Franklin County 4-H Extension Council, or a charity of the donor's choice.
