He was predeceased by: his mother Rosalyn Strait. He is survived by: his father Michael Strait of Beaufort; and his siblings, Kala Inman (Justin) of Union, Mike Baker (Alicia) of Washington and Joshua Strait of Washington. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Strait Family.
