He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Emmett Hart (Nellie) and Howard; his wife Mary Frances Lowes; his son Craig Hart; and his siblings, Elbert "Thurmon", Eldon, Harold, Chesley Hart, Dessie Smith, Iva Wallace, Elva Koch, Maxine Schreiber and Shirley Belt.
He is survived by: his children, Tom Hart (Cheryl) of Union, MO, Sandra Van Leer of Beaufort, MO, Bonnie Vemmer (Jim) of Union, MO and Valerie Clark (Russell) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Kevin Van Leer (Jillian), David Van Leer (Jessica), Steven Hart (Casey), Ashley Rapier (Kellen), Bradley Vemmer (Tisha), Robert Vemmer (Annie Bolte), Michael Vemmer (Casey), Paul and Audrey Clark; and his great grandchildren, Aidan, Owen, Gwen, Grace, Molly, Vivian, Clara Van Leer, Samuel, Calvin Hart, Reese and Blake Rapier. He is also survived by one great-grandchild on the way; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be given to the St. John Lutheran Church.
