We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2025, at the age of 75, William Henry Cooper Jr. of Battlefield, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William Henry leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Cooper Sr. and Maebell Edwards Cooper of Portsmouth, Virginia.; and his brother Russell Hill. He is survived by: his wife Regina Greer Cooper of Battlefield, MO; his sons, William "Will" Greer Cooper (Erin Doyle Cooper) of Los Angeles, CA and Benjamin "Ben" Edward Cooper of Madison, AL; and his sister Jean Smith.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home, Inc. (1947 E Seminole St, Springfield, MO 65804). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (601 E Walnut St, Springfield, MO 65806).
