He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita; and his parents, Frantz Nielsen and Evelyn Nielsen. He is survived by: his children, Laura Rankin (Tom) and John Nielsen (Mindy); his grandchildren, Kylie Hoelcher, Ben Rankin, Catie Rankin and Gabby Nielsen; and his brothers, Doug Nielsen (Susan) and Dennis Nielsen (Jana). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
