Bill Cooper Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill Cooper of Battlefield, Missouri, who passed away on January 21, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Bill may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bill touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Cooper Sr. and Maebell Edwards Cooper of Portsmouth, Virginia.; and his brother Russell Hill. He is survived by: his wife Regina Greer Cooper of Battlefield, MO; his sons, William "Will" Greer Cooper (Erin Doyle Cooper) of Los Angeles, CA and Benjamin "Ben" Edward Cooper of Madison, AL; and his sister Jean Smith.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gorman-Scharpf Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (601 E Walnut St, Springfield, MO 65806). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cornersville Cemetery (5910 MS-349, Potts Camp, MS 38659).
