He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard M. Sarratt and Jessie E. Sarratt; his wife Fern; his children, Leonard and Marjorie Seppings; and his granddaughter Andrea Orsted.
He is survived by: his brother Roland Sarratt of Independence, MO; and his children, Lawrence Sarratt and Beth Orsted of Phoenix, AZ. He is also survived by six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and was lovingly called Grandpa.
