He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo R. Wilkerson and Sarah Wilkerson (Skiles); his son Anthony Ray Wilkerson; and his siblings, Margie, Mary Catherine, Laverne, Charlotte, Linda, Harold, Donald and George.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lucille; his children, Ginger Ann Reddell and Michael Leroy Wilkerson Sr.; and his grandchildren, Amber Reddell, Madison Michelle Wilkerson, Michael Leroy Wilkerson Jr. and Berry "BJ" Lee Reddell Jr.. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Faith Community Church.
