She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sheldon and Anna Frances Martin (Mayta); her husband Donald Leroy McCarty; her son David Martin Onka; her stepson Dennis McCarty; and her siblings, Barbara Hunsucker, William "Bob" Martin and John Martin.
She is survived by: her friend JoAnn; her children, Robert Lee "Bob" Onka, Jr. of Bates City, MO, Deborah JoAnn Thompson (Greg) of Bates City, MO, William Charles "Bill" Onka of Independence, MO and Diana Reicher (Barry) of Ozark, MO; and her stepchildren, Steve McCarty (Kathy) of Buffalo, MO, Patricia Serrato (John) of Independence, MO and Pamela Goff (Jim) of Oak Grove, MO. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
