He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin L. Parks and Virginia Parks; and his siblings, Gloria Coffman, Nancy Parks and Chester "Pete" Parks.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Erica Parks (John Troske), Sharolyn Penneau (Jay) and Marvin, Jr.; his grandchildren, Tyler (Amanda), Blake and Quentin Parks; and his siblings, Linda Daugherty (Sam) and James Parks.
