He is survived by: his wife Donna Schaefer (Hammerschmidt); his children, Joe Jr., Mark (Angie), Jason (Mickey), Kevin and Susan; his grandchildren, Zachary, Kayla, Brandi, Bryan, Andrew, Colton, Emma, Evan, Brooke, Khole, Kingston, Paityn and Brooklyn; and his nieces and nephews, Terri, Janie, Julie, Linda, Peggy, Donna, Jerry and Doug.
