He was predeceased by: his father Otho Glenwood Edgar; his son Gary Linn Edgar, Jr.; and his stepbrother Jack Edgar. He is survived by: his mother Paula Marie Edgar (Blakely) of DeSoto; his sons, Shawn Otho Edgar (Sherrlyn) of DeSoto and Robert Thomas Edgar of Barnhart; and his grandchildren, Em Edgar and Eli Edgar. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
