He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry C. Scurlock, Sr. and Irma L. Scurlock (Schopp); and his brother Roy Scurlock. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Lee Scurlock (Vogt); his siblings, Robert Scurlock (Judy) of Eldon, MO, Jackie Holifield of Blackburg, SC and Betty Haverstick (Jeff) of Belleview, MO; and his sister-in-law Karen Scurlock.

Memorials in his name are suggested in care of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
