He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Newton Fairchild, Sr. and Clara Fairchild (Jaspering); his wife Patricia "Sue" Fairchild (Fulton); and his siblings, Bernie Fairchild Jr., Emmet Fairchild, William "Billy" Fairchild, Judy Fleishmann and Carol Soendker.
He is survived by: his children, Darsi Engeman (Meldan), Brian Fairchild (Ellen) and James Graham; his grandchildren, Matthew Valdez, John Fairchild, Katie Ortmann and Montana Graham; his great grandchildren, Aubree Kelly and Walker Fairchild; and his siblings, Robert "Bobby" Fairchild, Elmer Fairchild, Helen Draisey and Shirley Smith.
