He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia Lee Shelton; his parents, John Shelton and Bernice Shelton; and his siblings, Hazel Brown and Earl Shelton.
He is survived by: his children, Bryan (Deborah Mullen Shane) and Sally Shelton-Kiefer; his sister Sharon Shelton; his grandchild Mackenzie Mullen Shane (Natalie); and his great grandchildren, Harvey and Jonas Shane.
