He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Carter; his daughters, Rebecca McCarthy (Timothy) and Kimberly Hinshaw (Craig); his stepson Matthew Miller; his siblings, David Carter (Mary) and Jane Carter; and his grandchildren, Miles, Finnegan McCarthy and Harley Hinshaw.
