It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Rich Carter (Ballwin, Missouri), born in Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Stephen Rich departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Stephen Rich. Though Stephen Rich may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Carter and Barbara Carter; and his son Brian Carter. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Carter; his daughters, Rebecca McCarthy (Timothy) and Kimberly Hinshaw (Craig); his stepson Matthew Miller; his siblings, David Carter (Mary) and Jane Carter; and his grandchildren, Miles, Finnegan McCarthy and Harley Hinshaw.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory (14960 Manchester Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
