He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. John R. Swan and Dr. Mary E. Swan; and his brother Thomas H Swan. He is survived by: his wife Hilda; and his children, Rob (Michaela), Randy (Laura), Ryan (Victoria), Erika (Jason) and Joshua. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren.
