He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Philip Stuart and Elizabeth Cooney Stuart; his former wife Kathryn Cottrell Stuart; and his children, Joanne Stuart Rasmussen and David Phillip Stuart.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Clauson Stuart; his sister Sharon Stuart Duncan (Keith); his son Daniel Robert Stuart (Lisa Biagi); his stepson Craig Clauson; and his grandchildren, Brett Rasmussen (Kerry Kadie), Hank Stuart, Robert Rasmussen (Kelly Wolz), Jonathan Stuart (Veronica Parker), Elizabeth Hochberg (Craig Shinabargar), Jesse Stuart (Lauren Welker) and Jake Stuart (Lindsay King). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren and 5 nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Louis Society for the Blind or YMCA of the Ozarks, Potosi.
