He is survived by: his children, Diana Schumacher (Steve) and Steven Berger (Kirstin); his grandchildren, Lauren Maxey (Chad), Rachel Schumacher, Katharina Berger, Kristianna Berger and Eliana Berger; his brother Michael Berger (Diane) of Scottsdale; and his wife Willeyne Van Luik.
