He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Miller and Elva Miller; and his sister Nadiene Miller Maxim of Kansas City, KS.. He is survived by: his children, Bryan (Maria) of Overland Park, KS, Brett (Leslie) of Louisville, KY and Brittany of Ballwin, MO.; his granddaughters, Sarah of Baltimore, MD and Farren of Ballwin, MO; and his nieces, Bonnie Jo Holmes of Wichita, KS and Marsha Hewson of Columbia, SC..
