He is survived by: his children, Mark Hoer, Timothy Hoer, Daniel Hoer, Michael Hoer and Kathryn Scroggs (Walter "Trip"); his brother Paul Hoer; his grandchildren, Melissa Scroggs-Shmeck (Eric), Jennifer Scroggs, Alexis Scroggs, Alex Hoer and Jordan Hoer; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Bright, Alaina Bright, Oscar Scroggs-Shmeck and Celia Corona.
