He was predeceased by: his parents, L. W. "Tote" Lemonds and Ella "Jane" Lemonds (Overmeyer); and his brother Thomas W. Lemonds. He is survived by: his sister-in-law Jane A. Lemonds of Ballwin, MO; and his nieces, Kimberly Johnson of Ballwin, MO and Krisi Howland (Doug) of Kansas City, MO.. He is also survived by many cousins and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Kellogg Fire and Ambulance Department in Kellogg, IA.
