It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Lucas of Ballwin, Missouri, born in Freeburg, Missouri, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Herzing and Katherine Herzing; her daughter Lisa Coppin; her sister Loretta Polk; and her husband Michael George Lucas.
She is survived by: her former spouse Thomas S. Coppin; her children, Catherine Zeigler (Jim), Dan Coppin and Michelle McGowan (Brian); her grandchildren, Andrew Zeigler (Sara) and Kyle Zeigler (Ellie); her children, Reed Hoeferlin, Grace and Gabrielle McGowan; her great grandchild Annie Zeigler; and her close friend Bob Paden. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
