She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Arlena Thompson (Smith) and Andrew J Thompson; her husband Kenneth Cassidy; her children, Kenneth Nelson Cassidy Jr. and Joan Elizabeth Rickard; and her grandsons, Timothy Rickard, David Phillips and Robert Lederle.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Louise Smith (Clifton), William Ray Cassidy (Olivia) and Susan Lee Bickowski (Don); and her grandchildren, Shannon Stelling, Robert Rickard, Kara Smith, Shelly Hawley, Brandon Cassidy, Heather McKinney, Amber Denbow, Justin Cassidy, Casey Harrison, Christina Lederle and William Cassidy.
