She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Alexandra McKenney (Nick) and Sofia Belisle; her parents, Emma Gotay and Francis Gotay; her siblings, Maria Nischwitz (James) and Francis Gotay (Gwen); her aunts, Lettie Duepner (Norbert) and Laura Piñeda; her uncle Emilio Piñeda (Marijose); her nieces and nephews, Emily Nischwitz, Erin Nischwitz and Alex Gotay; and her cousins, Julie Duepner, Victor Duepner, Edurne Piñeda, Emilio Piñeda, Izaskun Piñeda, Carlos Piñeda and Montserrat Piñeda.
