He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Sapienza; his children, Julie Sargent (David), Kimberly Kelly (Brian), Joseph Sapienza (Amanda) and David Sapienza; his grandchildren, Madison Sargent, Hailey Sapienza, Michael Sapienza and Shaun Sapienza; his niece Barbara Atchison; and his friend Michael L. Moore.
