He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred A. and Louise E. Schooley; and his brother Linwood Schooley. He is survived by: his wife Carol Kenyon Schooley; his children, John H. Schooley, Jr., Alfred A. Schooley II and Eve Eckert (David); his brother Donald "Rusty" Schooley; and his grandchildren, John H. Schooley III, Logan Cohl Eckert and Lena Elizabeth Eckert.
