She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Elliott C. Goeckeler; her children, Heide Douglas (Edward) and Eric Goeckeler (Ann); and her siblings, Karen Hiles, Robert Ellerman and John Ellerman.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ASPCA.
